        ABSTRACT

        Big Data - large pools of data that can be captured, communicated, aggregated, stored, and analyzed - is now part of every sector and function of the global economy. From the agricultural revolution to the information revolution, success requires the ability to make the most of the latest, most innovative tools. This paper looks at advances in database analytics and how they change the playing field for marketing executives willing to seize opportunities made available by new advances in hardware and software.
