        ABSTRACT

        The advantages and challenges within the mobile coupon industry are explored in The Mobile Coupon Ad Unit Standards (MOCAUS) Committee’s ‘The Current State and Promise of Mobile Couponing’. The Committee, launched by the Mobile Marketing Association, introduces a mobile coupon framework that includes Setup & Syndication, Discovery & Acquisition, Presentment, Validation & Redemption and Reconciliation in addition to presenting several case studies.
